NEWSLETTER SPRING 2013
Letter from the President
The past 2 years have been challenging. Now, we are here in 2013 and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We are looking ahead to the completion of our new building remodel (mid April) and it will be amazing.
The Society plans to host its Membership for an exclusive preview and Open House. Details to follow once we near our occupancy date. The sale of the Macadam property is moving forward and we hope to close mid May...keep your fingers crossed! Your Board is in the process of reevaluating and revising some of its procedures in an effort to streamline responsibilities and keep checks and balances in place. In closing, I believe the good times are just starting to roll. I hope to complete my term, as President, in an uplifting and successful manner. With the support of the current Board and you, our members, that should be an easy thing to accomplish! Best regards, Wolfgang Werner
Welcome, Tracy and “Thank you,” Norah!
Please welcome, Tracy Ryder, our new Bookkeeper. She is responsible for the Administrative operation of our Society. Tracy replaces Norah Osburn, who came out of retirement to temporarily fill this position. We are grateful to Norah for her valued support and wish her all the best.
