DANCE THEATRE WORKSHOP with GROTEST MARU
Site specific theatre workshop project with a Public
performance on Pioneer Courthouse Square on Sunday
November 8, 2009
GROTEST MARU wants to create together with the
participants from Portland a theater, which speaks in
touching and intense theatrical images of the fall of
the wall and will be communicated non-verbally and
internationally understandable to an audience of all
generations.
The special urban architecture of Pioneer Square will be
the basis for this site specific staging. Scenes and
choreographies will be interwoven with contemporary,
electronic music and will lead the audience into a
poetic image-based world.
The familiar square will appear in a different light.
