Cultural Week November 2009
Puppet Show: Wilde Hummel
November 14, 3:30 P.M. at the German Haus
Runs about 60 min., suggested age: 4 and up
Join us for an enchanting puppet show presented by “Wilde Hummel” Puppet Theater (http://www.wildehummel.de). Tiermaerchen aus aller Welt, a play in German based on the wonderful stories of Rudyard Kipling, will take the audience back to the beginning of time, when the world was still new.

Children and adults alike will enjoy imaginative and humorous story telling about magical turtles in Africa, how the rhinos’ skin got wrinkled or why the whale grew a pharynx. Children of all ages will understand the stories telling of courage, wit and self-reliance. The combination of zany puppetry and the wisdom of traditional animal fables guarantee a fun and memorable afternoon.
